“…and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:26

Hey OK Readers,

Do you sometimes question yourself whether you are a “Christian” or not.  Ok.  Many people do. For one thing, you don’t read the Bible do you?  Don’t be discouraged.  We can send you a New Testament for free.  Also, remember that since Christ was here, Christians have had access to the “good book” for only 200 years or so (out of 2,000 years).  So “reading” the Bible is something that very few believers ever did… in history.  Don’t feel bad.  We should read but you are part of a majority of Christians that read little the Bible. But are you a believer? Forget that question for a moment. Let me share a scriptural story. There was this sick lady who may have had many scares but most definitely had a most severe disease.  She was dying.  This woman heard about the guy that was attested to be “the” Messiah (the One chosen by God).  So said the “gossip” at any rate.  She had little time left.  She heard that “the guy” was coming to her village.  She overheard what time he would be there.  “Just follow the crowd.” So, with the little energy she had left, she pulled herself up and started walking toward the apparent miracle worker.  “Follow the crowd”.  That was her last and only hope.  Through the density of the horrible herd, she had enough remaining strength to get to her goal.  The Man!  She had little life left… but she was close.  As she was falling from lack of life, blood gusting out of her fragile body, fighting through a thick and ungrateful array of people, she advanced.  She had too.  It was life or death.  She gave it all.  Eventually, she was right behind him.  She was close.  Close enough to touch His cloak.  That’s all she did.  Couldn’t do more.   Simply touched the cotton on his Frame.  Hardly even saw the back of his head. Read what happened here. New Testament, Book of Luke Chapter 8  Verses: 40… “Now when Jesus returned, a crowd welcomed him, for they were all expecting him… …  As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him. 43 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. 44 She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. 45 “Who touched me?” Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you.” 46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.” 47 Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. 48 Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.” The point is, you need little faith and little knowledge to have peace and Eternal Life.
