Peace

Recent events in the world have made us realize how fragile Societies are. We hear of turmoil in Israel, Palestine and Lebanon.  We hear of dangerous elements from Iran and North Korea.  The United States often seem to flame the issues more than resolve them. Terrorism remains in the forefront of our daily news.  There are battles in Afghanistan, war in Iraq.  All around, we hear of victims of terror and violence.

Regardless of the situation everywhere, we can still enjoy “peace within” if we have faith in Christ.  Scripture puts it this way:

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Romans, chapter 5 verse 1. This is a key element for believers.  It does change your life and gives you a certain assurance that is simply absent in the world today.
