Our body is mortal, but our spirit and soul are immortal.  We need to get a hold of that truth and to live our lives in the light of that fact. We will not perish because we have eternal, everlasting, life.The fear of death is gone.We are like our Father God, we have His immortal life nature. ”It is God who saved us and chose us to live a holy life. He did this not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan long before the world began–to show his love and kindness to us through Christ Jesus. 10 And now he has made all of this plain to us by the coming of Christ Jesus, our Savior, who broke the power of death and showed us the way to everlasting life through the Good News.”  2 Timothy 1:9-10 To us as believers, the death of our body is not the end, but rather a step into a fresh new beginning. Immortal life… that’s something to be thankful for!
